I'm having issues with my cacuum pump, as it stands now it not working at all. I replaced it about 14 months ago. Is the life of these that bad or is there another problem I'm over looking. It started making noises last week and now it seems to be out. I would really hate to have a $100 yearly replacement with that!
I have about 11 months on a replacement vacuum pump. I had a shop replace it. Usually I get parts from Advance Auto because they usually come with a gaurantee. The replaced an alternator that went bad.
just changed mine with 186,000 miles on it. it was factory still so unless previous owner replaced it will ford parts it was original. i think you just have another bad one.
