Front disc brake issue?

Front disc brake issue?
I'm having some trouble with both of my front disc brakes. They seem to be locking up after I apply the brakes. They realese very slowly but after some city drivng the pads will start to burn up!
My question, is the master cylinder the cause of this or are the calipers in need of replacement?

probably the calipers or the hoses. usually MC won't cause this problem unless you have brake pedla linkage binding. try having buddy hold the pedal down then relaese and quickly open the bleeder. if the brakes release then you have a hose issue, if they don't release you have a caliper issue.
