54' Column to floor shifter
Hello all, what a great site! Thank you in advance for your help.
Project; 1954 F100, I6 223, 3 speed on the column.
I am looking to convert from 3 on the column to a floor shifter, any one out there done this already, what kit?, how much fabrication did you need to do, etc.
I looked at Mr. Gasket, it might work with some serious fab, Hurst says their Indy Shifter might with some fab. Lokar just laughed and said it might be easier to get a new tranny.

FTE member "e william" converted to a Mr. Gasket shifter. Here's the thread: Three Speed Floor Shifter. I was going to go that route on a daily driver I'm building but decided to stay with the column shifter. Need a Mr. Gasket shifter? I no longer need mine.
