I'm geting tired of trying to work with my 3 on tree factory shifter and only being able to find cheap chinese repair parts. The shifter keeps popping off the shift tube, though the collar and tube seem fine other than the stupid cheapo tube keeps bending into an oval. I'd really prefer to keep the column shifter, but the allure of crisp fast shifts are drawing me away from the stock setup.
Anybody have any experience with the Hurst Indy shifters?
I also like the Hurst mastershift, but it is $300+ compared to the $130 for the Indy.
Any comments and suggesitons from folks who have been there and done that?
Do the shifters come with a template so I don't butcher my floorpans?
