Well got my carb and should be getting my adapter here soon. Laying it all out so I am ready to bolt it on. I got the Holley 500 carb and am getting the clifford stock intake adaptor. It is on a 1986 Ford f150. I was looking at the carb and it seems that the throttle is on the opposite side as the orginal ford carb was. Trying to use the stock linkage cable. What do you guys do to fix this?
Thanks
Matt

I did the same conversion and used an aftermarket replacement cable. At this time I don't have the number; but, I will get it for you and post later. It worked perfect and I used the old cable support with some minor modifications for the new carb. I didn't use the Holly; but, It was a Motorcraft 2150 (Same configuration) I'll also try to post some pictures.
I used the stock cable & cable support (modified). I bolted the cable support to a L-bracket that I bolted to the intake. I am using the offy "C" intake though.
