neutral safety switch wiring

Over the summer, I replace the A4LD automatic trans in my 92 AWD with a Mitsubishi 5-speed from a Bronco II. I have been unable to wire in a neutral safety switch (2 wires on the 5spd but 5 wires on the auto). Apparently, the a4ld's extra wiring will adjust engine idle when you shift out of neutral or park. Since the idle speed in non-adjustable and on the high side, is there any potential problem with keeping the neutral safety button depressed continuously? (possible harm to the computer; obviously there is a safety concern) Thanks for your input!

I don't think there's a risk in doing that. since you no longer need the "idle boost", doesn't seem like it should cause any problems, it's only a signal input after all. if nothing else use a relay to depress/energize the neutral switch on start-up. that way it woudn't be energized at all times. not sure if this helps or is even correct, just seems logical to me.
