A better question would be not what we have, but what we think is proper for a Ford truck. Some people bought trucks where the PO had already installed a GM.

Boy! its been awhile since I posted, shame on me!
I like the idea of keeping fords in fords etc. Honestly I would rather see a ford on the road with a off brand motor than to not see a ford on the road at all.

I am in that boat, stuck with a 327 in my Model T touring Rod. The irony is that when the T Rod was first built it had a 428 FE. The price was right when I bought it this spring and the rest of the T is very nice. All my other vehicles are Fords with 302`s, 390`s and a couple of Rangers with V6`s.

390 C6, would like to change to a 302 C4, daily driver sucks up the cash, being very gentle on the gas pedal.... ......it seems only right to have a Ford in a Ford...but as someone has said here , its your canvas, you do what is pleasing to you.........Bob
