t-cases revisited

I know that the newer NV271s will stand up to well over 500hp with no problems in sled pulling comps. Most Dodge and Ford guys love the NV271. People are upgrading Dana80s to heavier duty axle shafts, but there isnt a single mod out there for the NV271, that right there says something about its strength considering the D80 is one very HD axle. I agree with the fact that aluminum is an inferior design for rockcrawling type applications, but for brute strength in terms of input power, I dont think the Np205, or any older transfer case can match the NV271s specs.

I like my ugly 205. I know for a fact it has more than 150k miles and has never been rebuilt, and probaly won't need rebuilt for awhile. Shifts fine, leaks from the yokes a little but hey you can't have everything pretty.
