Np205 transfer case leak
The front output yoke on my NP205 ( married to a C-6, in a 77 F-150 ) seems to be leaking. The leak seams to be coming from the peace between the front driveshaft and the transfer case. It is leaking from the seal closest to the transfer case. After warming the case up only slightly ( driving for 10 minutes ) it begins to leak. The leak is getting progressivelly worse. I believe the gasket between this piece and the transfer case to have gone bad, however I can't seem to get at the bolts to take it off. The crossmember is getting in my way. I cant take it off because it is welded on. Does anyone have any suggestions?
