I've been calling all the closest dealerships in Ohio and
some junk yards but I can't see to find a front mount for
a rear leaf spring to finish my shackle flip. I called NAPA
too cause sometimes they can get that kind of stuff. I tried
fordpartsonline but they only go up to 1980. Is there a mount
from a newer truck I could use like cross reference something?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks again
On a side note I found some Pro-Comp Rear 6" springs for $300.00
not too bad.
dude, they are all over the place, trust me! someone just doesn't know what your talking about! EVERY ford fullsize from 1980 to 1996 F150-F350 uses the exact same mount! i can get a set for you EASILY if need be, i know where theres a pile of them but i know you can get them yourself. sometimes its best just to go drive to your fav j-yard and walk around
sometimes yards will tell you they dont have any b/c they dont want to have to go take the mounts off since they are riveted in and can be a b*tch to remove without torches
Check your Ford parts dealer. As Fishy mentioned those hangers are the same from the 70's all the way to 96. The only truck that used different hangers was the high-boy. Make sure you let them know it's a 4x4. 2 wheel drives use a narrower spring and the hanger won't fit.
yea i was gonna say, most all heavy 250's and 350 2wd's from the 70's on had 3 inch wide hangers as well, prett ymuch anything from 73-2003, except the 250 4x4s till 77.5
call the dealer and tell them you wantr the rear spring, front hanger for a 94 f-350 4x4 or somthing
Ok cool, that's what I was asking if there was another year of truck
I could cross reference with. The guy at the dealer told me he thought
they were different for other year trucks. But I'll stop in there and check
them out Monday.
