What would you recommend to plug the thermocouple's hole when you remove it? Someone told me you can get something from Home Depot?

 

Turbo impeller is stainless steel alloy- VERY hard to melt.

A standard 1/8th inch NPT pipe plug will plug the manifold.

I put yes but actually never have. I would though if I have seen some EGT's that were to high.

 

Hey Matt, I kinda have the 'bury your foot in it and don't ever let off' thing bad right now... just shifted out of 3rd, pulling hard in 4th when I noticed everybody standing on the brakes, hard.... 106 MPH in 4th, and I really wasn't too concerned with the EGT at the time, but I wasn't real happy with my tax dollars at work, courtesy of the CHP!!
