Grease- what brand is the best ??

I m sure most of you aware that 04/05 F150 has some issue with slip yoke (shudder on take off only) and there is a TSB for it.

I had a little issue with my truck FX4 04 shudder on only take off straight.

My rearend limit slip already has replaced the clutch and its all good!

I decieded try it myself, i removed driveshaft, used regular Valvoline grease and applied it and it works as smooth for approx 4 weeks then it start slowly came back....

So i ordered Teflon grease thru Ford dealer part dept that they use it for TSB and i applied it and its sad to report, it only last 17 days !

Soo do you have any suggest BEST grease that doesnt dissolve quick and best last longer ??

I havent try mobil one grease...

ANy feedback?

Thanks!
YOMAN!

I don't know what's best for your application, but I've used Mobil synthetic in my boat trailer for about 20,000 miles in the water lots. If I understand correctly, the sythetic grease handles high temps much better than most dino grease. I had one set of the disc brakes stuck and get VERY hot. I wet my finger and touched the hub and it sizzled like a hot frypan. The bearings were fine when it all cooled down, but I did shoot new grease in 'em. If regular grease will do that, great, but I don't want it to be my trailer you see on the shoulder propped up with a cinder block.

For the slip yoke, use a CV joint grease.
