Don't forget Stu, sacharin has caused cancer in labratory tests........you consume enough of ANYTHING it can kill you.............including WATER (no, I'm not kidding)
If I remember correctly, it took the sacharrin equivalent to about 100 times the weight of the rats- about 50,000 cans of soda. And as far as water killing you, I've heard that before, but i have my doubts as to the amount. Seems like you'd need to consume an abnormal amount of water- more than most people can drink. I understand you have a bit of a medical background... how much water would it take to kill a man (drinking it, not drowning in it)? And wouldn't the amount of water in the body need to be maintained for a period of time inorder for it to do the damage? Say, by drinking 5 gallons a day for weeks at a time?

It's a pretty instant thing........your cells basically freak out because you're thinnig/diluting out all the electrolytes which act like conductors in your body.
The 3 states of sodium saturation are Hypotonic, Hypertonic and isotonic and when I went to school I added a 4th............Gin & Tonic. Everybody was busting up.........even the instructor
It is more common than believed....a lot of cases in the Grand Canyon every year after a long hike then slamming too much water.
I believe 1/8 teaspoon of salt to every quart of water will pretty much insure not suffering that fate.
My only point on the roids is that there are safe levels and they should only be used under supervision and AFTER testing to see where you're deficient.
In other words, if you are short a little testesterone because of heavy work outs you may supplement...........any extra is what causes the harmful side effects. You or I can't just inject 50cc's and hope we're in the ballpark.....that is just insane!!
p.s. DOHC sorry for calling you a moron.
in parts to giving them the coverage.
It's all good.
Quick question for you(or anybody)...........Cortisone is a COMMON injection available to athletes to reduce swelling and relieve pain.........do you know what group of drug cortisone is???
Bonds was back last night and amazingly looked pretty good for missing the whole season and spring training.
Nobody has ever done what he did last night.....start a MLB game without playing the whole year and not having any games in the minors to get him into game shape.
Went 1 for 4, first hit was a HOMERUN!! Oh wait....a fan reached out a couple inches and grabbed the ball......GROUND RULE DOUBLE. Hit a couple other ***** to the wall for outs.
Dang! 2 games now without a homer... what a loser!!
J/K. Considering he hasn't had any games experience for a year, his timing is better than what I thought it would be, and I bet he hits one out in the next 2 games (that he actually plays in).
Sorta sucks that he's off the juice...........those long fly ***** most certainly would have been long gone otherwise
You just couldn't leave it alone could you.

Gentleman, as I alluded to once already, Bonds is one heck of a baseball player. Bonds with a knee injury, Bonds in a slump, Bonds with something in his eye, he would still be a 9.8 playing in a league full of 9.5's. Bonds is good, steroid use or not.
Good, but not 700 home runs good. Nowhere near it.
Too bad his testimony in the Balco case will never be released. If that was ever put up to media scrutiny along with the tax evasion problems then maybe he'd just fade away.
