Power steering flush

Hello all,
I just completed the ATF flush on my tranny. I have a some extra Mercon ATF left over and wanted to flush the power steering. The manual does not list its capacity, just fill to line. Any idea how many quarts it takes to flush the power steering and the best location to drain the old fluid?

Forgive me for my stupidity, but you can use transmission fluid in your power steering?

That's what the manual calls for. I disconnect the line by the cooler for the drain. Refilled 2 quarts to full. Pretty easy to do.

I too have some Mercon left over...I wanted to do this, but I didn't know how to.

Can you explain a lilttle bit better how to do this flush. I have an 02 Ex with the V-10..

I used a rubber bulb and attached a piece of hose to it then stuck it into the res. and sucked out the old oil (about a quart) then topped it off with new fluid. I've been doing this every oil change (5K) so the old oil gets dilluted. It looks very clean when I pour it out into the waste container.
