    I was out of state and had it repaired by a shope with regular brake line. I would think regular line would be fine but ss is better. Mine was due to the salt.

    What did you do afterwards when your brake line ruptured? Did you replace it with stainless steel lines? I'm curious to see if I should do that so it never happens to me. I'm in S. Calif. so I don't have the road salt problem, but it gets me worried.
