Check out my instrument cluster. I just posted a picture of it in my gallery. I made it with a metal bezel I got on ebay and painted it with black "wrinkle" paint. The face plate is aluminum and I left it with a sanded texture. Then I used Autometer "Classic" gauges and Painless 5/16" lights for the turn signals and high beam indicator.
Dark Wolf: That panel really looks great. Do you have any part numbers for the Classic gauges. I don't have them listed in my Auto Meter Catalog. They are just what I am looking for. Any problems with the fuel gauge being compatible with the OEM sender? TIA Stan
The guage part numbers I'm using are 2522, 2492, 2499, 2515, 2582, 2532. The fuel guage was listed for older Fords so I'm hoping it works ok but just got the unit put together a few days ago and haven't put it in the truck yet, maybe today.
The sway bar I'm using is a 1" OD and I got it from LMC.
I havn't driven the truck in almost 2 years, still have a few odds and ends to hook up before I take it on a road test. Getting kind of anxious to see how its going to run.
hey darkwolf40 let us know how well that fuel gauge works I have almost the exact same setup with the same guages but I put 3 gauges each on either side of the tach/speedo but its probably going to be awile before I get mine installed.
Well I got it installed and it looks great. The fuel guage seems to be right, I guess I'll know for sure when I fill it up but right now its reading where I'd expect it.
