67 Lowering / Drop Question?

Ok, I'm about the make the leap. I talked to Steve at AIM regarding options for lowering my 67 F100. I'm going to go with the axle relocation kit for the back with shock extender brackets. Should lower the back 6" in this config.

My only hesitation is on the front end. Do I really need the drop I Beams?

Is there no other way to lower the front 4" without spending $500.

Just wanted eveyones feedback before I take the plunge.

Thanks

JohnR

Drop beams are pretty much the cheapest way to keep the camber and caster angles correct. The only other way would be to put a full-blown IFS system in it, but then you lose strength and durability. I don't think re-bending the beams would be a very good idea for that much of a drop, since your angles will be way off.
