66 instrument cluster
Does anyone know if there is a service to rebuild the speedometer in my 66 CC? The odometer quit, then a few weeks later the speedo started making noise and bouncing. I already changed the cable but this did not help.

If it's noisy and bouncing, chances are the small worm gears are badly worn. They can be replaced. my 50 F-1 was doing that and that's what the speedo shop found. made a heck of a squeal. You don't say where you are, but here in Connecticut there's a shop in Hartford that's great. look in the yellow pages in your area under "speedometer" and you should find someone local.
