Too bad they don't have some kind of compound for strings that'll hold up to abuse.

The strings that came with the boots held up the longest. The others dont stand a chance in all the abuse they go through.

I have noticed that, but I still need strings after the OEM ones wear out. Cabelas actually does have OEM strings for their boots, but I never take the time to order them, because I usually need them right away. What I should do is order them ahead.

Georgia makes great boots... I bought a nice pair of Irish Setter's about three years ago... I love them... Thats the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes. I wear Vasques everyday though, they are a lot lighter and not as hot to wear.
