I was under the impression the 1705 increased line pressure to tranny.
Is this not enough to protect tranny?
I've got a new tranny in the truck now, it's still under warr. Will this mod void warr?
i have the predator, and it boosts the line pressure in the tranny to firm up the shifts.. this is done electronically... i think the 1705 does the same thing the same way.... the sonnax valve upgrade does this mechanically.. and it does it better... i don't even use the tranny settings on the predator anymore... the book says not too if you have a shift kit in your tranny... i debated on wether on not to get the sonnax because i had the settings on the predator... i'm glad i did...! i do not know about warranty issues... i would doubt that the sonnax would void your warranty... especially considering the fact that it actually helps your tranny to last longer...!
