hubs not locking

my manual hubs locked ok the last time it snowed 2 weeks ago. last night it snowed here and when i turned them to lock my front wheels were not spinning in the snow. can i take them apart and clean them? they are the original ford ones. or should i get a new set.

hubs not locking

if you have to much grease in them they wont lock.you possibly have moisture in them and is froze.

hubs not locking

sometimes they will get burrs in them. i dont know where or how to fix it though. i bought new warn premium hubs. came out to $110 installed.
