I have come across a lot, and I mean a LOT of posts from both sides of the fence, bashing the other person's choice. I will admit to doing this a couple times. That is NOT what I'm doing this for. All I want to see, is the number of V10 owners, vs the number of PSD owners in the SD trucks. Ranging from '99 V10 and PSD. Nice and clean. Simple curiousity is what drives this. Please share your experiences with them as well.
Had 95 and 2000 7.3 PSDs I liked them both no problems either motor.
Had 04 6.0 for 9 months , I liked performance, but harder on fuel , than 7.3s , oil leaks,
rough idle, egr problems, turbo problems, stranded on the road twice and hauled in.
I ordered the truck in my sig. In 5 months , never been back to dealer and so far , so good. I like this V10 a lot. Good idea Nick, Should be an interesting thread. Wrench.
We need another choice!! I have both, a PSD (7.3) and a V-10. I like them both, and both do what I ask of them. So I read the different threads bashing one or the other and just laugh. Like I say, they both do all that is asked of them.
CmprSpecial, it was merely a suggestion. I had forgotten that there was a V-10 area since that forum is in a different section than the 6.0 and Superduty forums. Wasn't trying to slight anybody.
Actually could it be possible to be inclusive of all three areas I wonder?

Well...when your posting at 3:30 in the morning, good ideas like that don't exactly make it out In fact, it didnt even cross my mind...I guess it's too late now. Yeah, I posted it in the SD forum, because I was trying to get a good view on each. It's not too surprising how this poll is turning out right now, but we need more people to vote.
Wrench, I'm hoping it will turn out nice and clean. I guess we'll see...
Have two 5.4's & am on my 2nd V10. Been a Ford man my whole life. Have driven lots of 7.3's & 6.0's. Never had a negative issue with any Ford. Love my V10, just didn't make any sense for the driving I do to buy a diesel.
