Don't have a thud under acceleration but I never accelerate hard in the Ex.
Only hear this new sound when turning and on unlevel ground like a driveway or a dip in road.

FYI......it isn't your exact model but the parts and set up is similar. You have leaf springs and that is a coil spring f250..... but it highlights the main components.
The last pic is what your rear leaf spring rubber bumper should look like....yours is worn down to a nub.
