Hi, this is my first post Im not even sure if im in the right place but i have a question. I cant find exactly what the problem is, its not U joints they were replaced not too long ago. I just put in brand new Hubs and it still does it. What happens is when I turn left the truck makes a grinding/popping noise from the driver side somewhere in the front end. I put it in 4 high without the hubs locked and it still does it, i locked the hubs and it still does it. Im not sure if its a needle bearing or what but it has gotten worse to the point where I go over bumps like speed bumps or bumps in the road at slow or high speed I hear a noise like a thud noise like something is loose in the front end. Im not sure if these are two separate issues or are connected somehow. I have 185,000 miles if that helps. When i pull into my driveway there is a bump and i hear the noise in the driver side a lot too. Thanks anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to FTE.

Your problem sounds to me like it could be a wheel bearing but you should really ask in your generation-specific forum:
