Any plumbers out there??
Why in the heck does my dishwasher spill out of the vent tube on top of the sink??
I replaced it, checked the routing of the vent hose (ok) but still wake up in the morning to a countertop full of water?
What gives?
What am I not looking for?

If water is coming out of the air gap, it's because the drain can't handle the flow. Sometimes some water may 'spit' out of the air gap, and that's not really indicative of a problem. But a flow out of the air gap every time you run the dishwasher would mean that your drain is not able to handle the volume of water. Try cleaning the drain lines from the air gap to the sink. If you've got a garbage disposal, there might be a blockage in there. Also, pull the trap and check anything in there. Does your sink run slow too? Might be a problem in the line from the sink to the house main.
