yeah but hopefully you will live with the paint job as well as your wife for a very long time. I wouldn't settle on white because the painter wants it.

Hey folks, Just wanted to give you all an update on the progress of my Galaxie. It turns out that she needed a little more body work than originally thought! Someone had done a cobble up job on the rear fenders, and other places. We cut off all questionable metal and welded new. She's all straight now, and being shot with primer today! LOTS of work! The good part is, I was able to have weeks longer than I thought to decide on a color. And I finally did. Red. But I feel like a traitor. I had it narrowed down to 3 reds that I really liked. My wife picked her favorite without knowing what it was. I'll admit it, it was my favorite too. GM torch red. The vette color, apparently. I feel bad because it is a ford and all, but nobody will know-and it truly is a nice color. So hopefully it will be done in a week or so, the I'll post pictures in my gallery so you all can see it. I can't wait to have her back so I can hear that 352 bark thru those new pipes again. After the interior work is done(minor) then I may start thinking about engine work. I'm gonna keep the 352, but I'm not gonna keep it stock!

I did that on my 90 Ford F-150. so i cant say to much.

Just do like i did rename the color to something that is not GM TORCH RED. do something like NEW FORD RED. or better yet FORD TORCH RED..... LOL
