Rear Backup sensor problems

On my 04 Lariat Screw I have the back up sensors and when I go into reverse they start beeping like crazy even when i have the tailgate up or there is no snow or ice near by. Its been doing this for a while. I have had it fixed then it started doing it again. So when i take it in to to get a oil change soon ill have them fix it. they might have to replace the entire system i think.

anyone else have this problem?

My work fine, as long as I keep them clean.

I've had this problem occasionally in very cold weather. A couple of times, after washing the truck, I found that the sensors came on every time I reversed for a while, then suddenly the problem corrected itself. There was nothing visible on the sensors, so I figured they iced up inside, or the contacts got wet. In warmer weather, they perform flawlessly.

When I got mine last winter I had the issue in cold weather but I haven't had the problem this winter. Mine also went crazy last summer when the bumper faced the sun on a really hot day. It must have something to do with condensation or something. This is one option that I will never again be without on any truck. It has saved me a couple of times in parking lots where someone will sneek up on you while your halfway out of your spot.
