Question about back-up sensors?

I have a 04 lariat F350, not that I use them but I like everything to work correctly in my truck. Today will I was working I started my truck and noticed that the off indicator was lite, which we all know that is the opposite of the factory settings. When I push the button it does nothing just stays in the off position? what could be the problem? I purchased the truck used and do not have a diagram for the fuse box, could it be a fuse? HELP!!!!

Crawl under the rear bumper and make sure all your harnesses are connected at the sensors. If they are, trace the harness to a main connector that should be up around the spare, or the receiver hitch. They all neck down into one connection. If everything is connected, you have a bad sensor. It's not talking to the truck.

You didn't back into a pole by accident because the music was too loud and you were looking out the side view, did you? Not that I've done that...
