Question transfer case ?

Does anyone know if there is a bearing or a bushing in the transfer case tailhousing where the rear driveshaft goes in?

OK I finally found an exploded view diagram on line. It is a New Process 271 Transfer case. The picture shows what looks like a bearing but the parts list says thrust washer. Go figure. It looks like I'll under the beast again this weekend.

I'm looking at an exploded view from motive gear and it shows a bearing on the rear output shaft. Ford part # F81Z 7B118 BA Needle Bearing-Rear Output
