I beat the hemi
I raced my dad's 04 1500 quad cab 2wd 3.92 geared hemi with 20" wheels 15K miles I beat him. He got me off the line though WTF wwe are both auto's I beat him quite good actally.
So if his truck does indeed run 15.7 then I must be 15.3 you guys had me hoplessly thinking my car a 99 Escort Zx2 88k miles, auto,new wires, plugs fuel filter, air filter and moble 1 in the trans, and engine. Was an 18sec flat car
I guess you guys just prepared me for the worst
Now to just go after that 00 grand Am GT

the thing that ****es me off the most about these hemi trucks is that first commercial where the ram races the cuda. what the hell were they thinking? a ram beats a cuda. whoever thought of that was a moron, he almost ruined the reputation of one of the greatest cars ever. now whenever i talk about the badass hemi cudas with the legendary six pack, i think of that commercial. but i gotta admit those two guys were pretty funny.

ya know most police depts employ ford. They get a better tax discount on fleet vehicles. Also when you ge the cars your local police shops go through and redo them so their is no true stock engine in the first place. MY VEHICLE WAS POLISHED AND PORTED AFTER DELIVERY.

Police Depts get whatever the best pricing for fleets are. I remember the State getting a slew of Caprice's, engines were stock just heavy duty. I guess if the town only has a few cars they would have the time to port and polish them all. Ive never seen a fleet maintenence shop with enough time to fix the broken stuff yet alone do performannce upgrades. I guess you were one of the lucky ones.

I'd take more than a taller rear end gear to make that big of a truck doa 15.7!
don't get me wrong...I do like the hemi rams...but they're not fast. If you want a sports car...get a sports car, not a full size pickup!

That 15.7 is what my truck trend quoted. and 18 sec for guys on this forum.
Eather way I will not take my wipers off. Hey I have an idea ..never mind..I'll be nice today.
My car with my "wipers" removed and a 25hp shot and if I put on neon l ights and a fart can will be in the 10's right!!!

Something isn't adding up here. A new SVT Focus will run about 16 flat, a Hemi quad cab will probably run high 15's or low 16's, your car is not a 15 second car. Something abnormal happened in that race you ran. Are you sure the Ram was racing?
