Howdy,
I had my windshield replaced last week (some of you may have read that thread i wrote and know what kind of an ordeal i had) I had to take the truck home once while it was just sitting up there , and i took some random piece out of the bed, so naturally they didnt reinstall it. This random piece i speak of its a black piece of metal that goes at the top of the windshield, and is concealed partly under the rubber. (i think, it may actually go over) It screws in to the cabin several places. What is the purpose of this piece? My 77 pickup does not have it. Is it something that i should put back in? Thanks for your help.
Does it actually work? If it does i may want to put it back on. I dont feel like being decapitated by my windshield. I did look at a friend 79 bronco and it had this piece.
