So I have the big trim piece that goes around the windshield. From bronco graveyard or npd, what's the item number for this gasket? It's not the little tube like trim its the wide one.

There are THREE possible windshield weatherstrips for 1973/79 F100/350's, they do not interchange. What year is the truck? If it's a 1977, what are the last 6 digits of the VIN?
There are two different reproducers of these weatherstrips. The el cheapo versions sold by LMC and others are made in China. Carpenter reproduces his in the USA, other repro parts sellers buy from him.
NPD: F-03110-11 This is 73-77 before s/n O80,001 with the wide moulding $45.00
Dennis Carpenter: D3TZ-1003110-E w/ wide moulding $110.00
When it comes to weather stripping, you get what you pay for. DC is well worth the extra money.
Yeah, both of these wheatherstrips are for the wide stainless steel moulding, not the narrow plastic. The serial number division (O80,001) is when they switched from the wide to narrow.
Its the thick stainless steel w/s reveal mouldings, not the plastic type. And my truck is a 74 but idk what year the truck was i took it off. but it was a highboy
Fixed it for you.
1973/76, and 1977 F250 4WD (High Boys) before serial number O80,001 would have the wide mouldings, from serial number O80,001 would have the plastic mouldings.
But, both types only came in certain packages, so some 1973/79 F100/350's had no w/shield reveal mouldings, why there are three different w/shield w/strips.
D7TZ-1003110-B .. w/shield w/strip-use with one piece flexible plastic chrome w/shield reveal moulding: 1977 F100/350 from #O80,001, 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco.
The other option you have (and I suggest you opt for it), is having an autoglass shop install this weatherstrip. It's not only a PITA to do it yourself, but you cannot do it yourself...takes three people to install it.
One on the inside working the string, two on the outside, one on the right, one on the left holding the w/shield with w/strip installed butted up against the cab.
Cut the old weatherstrip off from inside the cab, then remove the glass. If you don't, you'll break the windshield attempting to remove it with the weatherstrip attached.
Dealers didn't even attempt to install this and the back glass w/strip, sent to autoglass shops to have the little charmers installed.
