Computer Question!

F350 Crew Cab Dually 351w
Why is is that this truck can not be hooked to a computer and tested. Everyone I go to is unable to pull the codes with a KOEO
test and only one guy was able to do a stage two check of the truck with the engine running.

Any Ideas?

Computer Question!

Any Ideas on this one?

Last night I tried it once again following the directions on the pulling codes web with the jumper.

When I turn the key on for KOEO codes the Check Engine like just comes on solid. If I start the engine it just truns off and I get no response at all.

I really appreciate everyones help on the issues I have had...

Does the truck have an aftermarket performance chip installed? If so, you probably need to pull the chip to read the codes.

Computer Question!

It is not supposed to have one. I guess I will need to take a look at the computer. It was suppose to be a stock chip.

I really can't figure out why only a guy with a snap-on can only read a stage two test and can't do the stage one...
