No Start - Ignition ? !
hey i have an '88 Bronco, 351 4x4. last weekend i was tearin around in the mud a lil bit and it just stopped out of nowhere. the way it died made me think electrical right away. so i towed it home and looked around. there was no spark at all from the distributor OR the coil. so i pulled the coil, inpected it and tested it and everything was great on it. i've been trying to figure out where EXACTLY it gets its power from (i only see my bronco and F-250 on the weekends due to college). one guy i work with was saying that it might be the TFI, i haven't been back yet to check it out. but anyways i figured i would seek some advice from you guys that might have had the same problem. thanks for looking and the help.

check your ignition control module. some parts stores can test them for you. the coil is not getting the signal to send power. if that checks out test your dist and check your timing chain
