Yesterday I had my codes pulled by Autozone. The KOEO code was 031 and the CM code was 067. The guy at autozone suggested I buy a new EGR valve Sensor, so I did. The truck still runs sluggish when it warms up. Today I pulled the codes myself; after reading all about it. My KOEO code is now 067 and my CM code is 11. The CM was cleared when I disconnected my battery installing the new sensor. OK My truck runs like crap. according to what I read 067 is either my truck was not in neutral (witch it was) or MLP sensor is out (E4OD) but I have a C6 Help? What should be my next move?<O</O
I really think I am having a sensor problem but not sure. I just changed all the spark pugs, wires rotor and cap. It runs great if it is really cold out side (until it warms up) but if it is warm temp., it runs poor from the start. If I floor it, it will still get up and move. but if I do gradual acceleration, it does not want to go.<O</O
Hard fault 31 ,loosen 3 bolts-nuts screws on evp and rerun test with at in park ,man, clutch pushed, code gone replace evp. not gone apply vac to egr at idle should idle rough-stall, Green hose isn't cracked or broken ,repair with rubber hose.Red hose at vac hose at egr solenoid has full vac at idle, rerun test with vac guage hooked up to green hose- will pull vac during test if sol. is ok and pcm is sending signal. Wires at egr sol. are ok??? Slugish prob- clean throttle body if you have not- adjust timing to 10 degrees with(important ) spout unplugged can vary 2-4 degrees(without pinging) Not better try unplugging egr green hose and plug and drive,if helps- plug in line vac. delay valve.Hope this helps!!!!

Trublufords, This is a lot of good information, I am going to perform all these test this weekend. I have a question that might make me look like an idiot, so here it goes. You said clean the throttle body! What and where is the throttle body? I have a 351w EFI. Question 2, you said adjust timming to 10 degrees with spout unplugged! what is the spout? sorry for the ingnorance!
If your bronco has the tfi-iv ignition system it has a single sprout connector (spark output) On my 92 bronco it was from a double wire spout connector- near my driver side fender well under my mastercylinder . Not sure on an 89 , u can follow the wires from your module to locate. It mandatory for accuarte timing measurements TR
