Wow, that is one hideous car! Talk about a disgrace to the Fairlane name. At the rate Ford is going, they will never get me to buy a new vehicle. I'll just keep buyin' the old used stuff. Now give me a '67 Fairlane 500, that's a real car!
WHAT THE HELL!!!!???? A MINIVAN?!! Are they for real? If so I'd say say someone needs to be fired for that!!! I mean build the thing if you want, but don't call it a Fairlane!!
why ,why, thats all you can ask,u almost have to laugh, the problem is that there trying to appeal to the early to mid 20 to early 30 sometihng generation, and around here that generation as a whole from I've seen dosent seem to be car enthusist, atleast around my area, alot of them seem to be right out of college, just starting familys or whatever and have a different appeal for cars, they seem to like the honda elements, the scions, and I think ford is really starting to target that market, but thats all we need is another cross over wagon/minivan thats trying to apeal to buyers as an suv. Maybe station wagons are starting to make an apeal again. Maybe the mini vans/suvs arent geting the fuel economy that the wagons are and some people want something better but they dont want to give up that "command" seating that an suv gives?
one reason like subura, they said it the way it is straight out at the begining, sus or suw, sport utility sedan or sport utility wagon. Being all wheal drive with a higher ground clearance gives them the utility, the more powerful engines and the stick transmission behind everything gives them the sport. but not denying that its an sus or suw
i think the stylin of the little thing is fun and maybe better than the scion's and stuff, my hurt comes with the whole naming of this thing, and by all of our opinions it shows that something's wrong in the the ford camp.
no justice for fairlane
Looks like a cardboard box with a blue oval on it. That kind of nothing styling is usually more representative of GM than Ford. And Fairlane? No way that name belongs on that....that...thing! -TD
We all seem prety united in that Fairlane was a poor idea to name this. I think if they're gonna bring back a name for a vehicle like this, Aerostar would be a lot better. I kinda like the SYN-US, heck it's bullet-proof and has a big flat screen TV. I doubt that this Fairlane will ever make it to market. Hopefully it's just a concept to show off some new design elements. I do like how the tailgate can be opened 3 ways.
you know my screen name "forddytube ". this is someones actual name on his birth certificate. his dad was john tube and he loved fords so he named is third son fordy tube, now if thats not true dedication to your brand what is ?
just like if fomoco would attempt to change from the blu oval to the green rectangle instead that will just kill me hard.
