tailgate window switch problem

tailgate window switch problem

After re-installing the tailgate of my '86 Bronco after painting, the keyswtich for the window no longer works. It does still work by the dash switch. So that rules out the elec. motor. What else can I check before replacing the switch?

Check for pinched/broken wires.
