Wish OK was that way.

Just last Saturday, I was going down Hwy 169 doing what my speedometer said 90, and that's with stock tire size, but I'm running 31's on there, so I assume I was doing 105 or so.. and all of a sudden my fuzzbuster starts beeping like crazy, and I see the Hi-po on the other side of the highway, flip on his lights, and pull across traffic to turn around after me, and I exit off and weeve through traffic, and loose him, and about another mile up there's a Tulsa PD cr there, and he flips on his lights, but went the other way and I was extremely relieved. But I went to school and told my friend about it (his dad is chief of police in the city) and he's training t be a hi-po and I found out he heard all about me, but didn't know it was me. Later, I learned that it was 2nd Lt. and he had also called out the chopper for me.. I don't recommend doing this.

there is a equation that will tell you what speed you will be doing at any giving speed on your spedo

I got the same bronco2 as u pretty much, 87 B2 2.9 auto, and my muffler is hollowed out and i got a cherry bomb right after it. it sounds pretty beefy and i set off car alarms with it all the time. im gonna hollow out my cat soon cause its getting clogged but putting a cherry bomb in there makes it sound pretty awsome.

Well, I was just at Walmart, trying to find me a place, and this is at 1 am lol, and I set off 2 car alarms, mine's pretty loud, most likely louder than yours. I have no clue how many alarms I set off. When I go to school I set off about 3, and when I leave another 4, every day. Kinda gives you that good feeling inside. First time I did it, I was scared lol, thought the cops were gonna get me for setting off an alarm.

Question for INF3rN0: Why hollow out the muffler? And if you do hollow out the cat(s), I would recommend putting straight pipe through there. The hollow shell will cause your exhaust flow to slow down due to cooling of the exhaust inside the gutted cat, which is denser air, which is in turn, harder to move.. but if you put the pipe in there, it shouldn't slow down the exhaust flow.

There is no specific dB level, it's at the testers discretion. I doubt you'll be able to pass smog and also be that loud. I turn a lot of heads when I drive by, because it's loud. But, keep in mind this is a v6, and not a powerful one at that lol.

I have exhaust manifold (can't afford headers right now), and even when I had my cat working and everything, and had on a "turbo muffler", it was pretty loud then too. I don't think it will be earsplitting, but it will be pretty loud.

i think ill put a pipe inside my cat and muffler... the reason i hollowed out my muffler instead of straight pipeing it is cause it passes safety where i live cause they just take a look under the vehicle and see theres a muffler and cat and there like, ok passed.

Anytime you hollow stuff out in the exhaust and you don't put a pipe through it you hurt the exhaust flow. The chamber lets the exhaust expand and cool, hot gases flow better.
