'05 F350 Lariat CC, TS w/ almost 3,000 miles. Love this truck. Avg 16 mpg, mixed hard driving, up to 20 on hwy driving like granny. Only problem really is a strange bucking when climbing steep mountain passes, only when in low gear and rev'ing at 1200. Read elsewhere about someone else having this happen but when towing up steep grade. It doesn't seem like a big deal - I haven't mentioned to dealer. Otherwise, I'm having a blast...and I'm trying to get the boss into a PSD Excursion. So far she's not biting.

Got it in Sept. Have 4000 miles, no issues or problems.
This is my first Diesel and REAL truck. No smell in cab.
I think the trans gauge is fake though.

05 250 crew cab, I have no complaints at all about the truck. I have a little over 6000 miles on it, getting 17.5 mixed driving. No problems at all. I will keep this one for a long long time

I just bought my 05 6.0 Crew cab DRW a few weeks ago and already have 1500 miles on it! AWESOME truck!! No problems as of yet and I don't think I will ever have any! This is one awesome machine and the 6.0 is so strong over my 7.3!! This 6.0 will run circles around my old 7.3. I LOVE IT!!! GO 6.0!!!

Got my 05 PSD 10/24/04. Has 4000 miles, towed the 12,800# 5er to Florida and back with no problems, except for the Torq-Shift seems to want to "kick-down" at every little grade change. It's going in for it's 1st oil change and check-up, so will hopefully get my issues cared for. I really like the truck. I have my 01 PSD 7.3 with 120,000 mi om it that I drive for work, while the "cook" drives the new one. She really likes it, she can look down on the Beemers, etc. (Its 4WD and sets up in the air good).

Sounds like the majority are really enjoying the 2005 Super Duty 6.0. I really enjoy my 05 can't wait to see how it does with the 32 ft 5th wheel strapped to it's back. Keeping my fingers crossed with 2500 trouble free miles.

Aug build 05 purchased in Aug - 3600 miles - no problems except exhaust smell in cab that has pretty much gone away. Pulls good - mileage 15 running empty - no trips to the dealer. Suspension huge improvement over my 04. Installed block heater cord yesterday (used diagram from Ford).

To Ophus

I too had a leak on the front of the engine in my 2005 (5000 KM's). Took to the dealer and they replaced the front engine seal and leak seems to have disappeared. The tech told me they have had a fair number of leaks compared to the 2004's.
