All it states is mileage and that I am not to happy right now where the HECK is the BADMOUTHING
Warranty is not the whole issue - I PLAY I PAY and I am working with John on another trans.
I think we are going to the next level of transmissions - Some one is always working on a better mousetrap.
Brian does build a good trans but for what I am going to be doing John is the person I want to build the trans for my truck and my race truck. It is hard to work with a shop that I can not have quick access to as we test many new things.
That's right I broke my BTS
The original trans went 136,000 miles
The BTS trans went 36,000 miles
Not to happy right now that is a lot of money for so few miles.
Looks like I am going to get a John Wood tranny like we have in the wifes truck.

In your Words it sounded to me like you were unhappy with Brians tranny. I also do not understand the point of your post,, was it just to let people know that your BTS only lasted 36,000 miles or what? Maybe this is where everyone (even me) got the wrong impression? I have talked to Brian Many times and I have a feeling if your tranny really did fail and brian knew about it he would send you a new one whether you wanted it or not, that just the kinda guy he is. Even a FILTHY rich fool wouldnt walk away from a Free $4000.00 Replacement.
Sorry to hear that Gene. It just proves that nothing is bulletproof. What kind of HP/torque are you putting out? Do you think it was simply too much power for the tranny or that there was a faulty part to begin with?
That is a long list of Mods, 380 r/w HP, that ought to set you back a few inches in the seat. I'm interested in finding out what actually went wrong in the tranny, if you could post it for us.

I will keep it short
Broken input shaft
Pushed out a snap ring
Ground up the thrust washers
All fixed along with a couple other pieces for longer life.
Who is BTS? When searching the web several come up.
Can someone give me the correct link and or phone #?
Is BTS the best? Are there others to consider?
Can the right "local transmission guy" do the same as BTS or do they have something no one else does?

Glad to hear that it is fixed. This is the first I have heard of a broken input shaft, first for everything I guess. How are you liking the BTS now that you've had it a while?
