Where is the air filter? Does the fan in the leaf blower some how magically filter out everything and expell it out the bottom? Is there a scoop in the hood for the top of the blower to draw air in?
The high speed of the Toro actually atomizes the dirt particles and suspends them in the air stream so a filter is not needed. In addition to the benefits of force cramming lots of air, atomization of dirt and mosture actually releases a large amount of pure oxygen which produces more HP than any Nitrous Setup.
At first a scoop was though not to be needed. It was thought that pulling air from the engine compartment would acutally increase that amount of dirt and mosture drawn in by the Toro as explained above.
However, after a couple of runs the hood was sucked down into the intake of the Toro and atomized with the rest of the dirt and mosture. So the car is running without a hood for now.
I was sure the leaf blower would suck all the air out of the engine compartment to increase air flow through the radiator for better cooling along with allowing higher downforce on the front tires.
Something like stealth ground effects for unsuspecting Corvettes and Porsches.
The air cleaner is on top of the Torro, anything that goes through that 1/4" hardware cloth should be able to go through the engine.
((cubic inches X RPM) divided by 2) divided by 1728 = CFM required at 0 boost

I know a guy who makes turbos for a living and he uses okd shop vac blowers and a electric motor on the go carts he races to get almost 30 hpsout of a 5 hp race block.
but you must remember, a 5 hp motor only draws less than 100 cfm
