At first a scoop was though not to be needed. It was thought that pulling air from the engine compartment would acutally increase that amount of dirt and mosture drawn in by the Toro as explained above.
However, after a couple of runs the hood was sucked down into the intake of the Toro and atomized with the rest of the dirt and mosture. So the car is running without a hood for now.

Man I blew it on that setup.
I was sure the leaf blower would suck all the air out of the engine compartment to increase air flow through the radiator for better cooling along with allowing higher downforce on the front tires.
Something like stealth ground effects for unsuspecting Corvettes and Porsches.
The air cleaner is on top of the Torro, anything that goes through that 1/4" hardware cloth should be able to go through the engine.
((cubic inches X RPM) divided by 2) divided by 1728 = CFM required at 0 boost
