E4OD Cooling
Does anyone know if the temperature of the E4OD is regulated by a computer? If so how and could this be the reason my trans overheats on long slow climbs when the engine temp is normal?

No, it is not regulated by a computer.
If you are climbing at less than 40 MPH your torque converter will be unlocked. This will generate A LOT of heat. A bigger cooler, or a fan blowing on the cooler may be needed.
