Rear Axle Decode help

I just bought a nice 89 4x4 with the manual trans and a 5.0 with only 52k miles. I'm trying to figure out all I can about the truck. The rear axle Code is R9. I have not been able to find a reference anywhere to tell me if this is limited slip or not and the ratio. I'm assuming this is an 8.8 inch differential?

It is an 8.8 differential.

Thanks for the help. Now I need to get to work and replace the leadking rear main seal. Then I plan to drive the wheels off this old truck.
