What Do You Do For a Living?
Ive been paid as a Financial Consultant for the past 18 years, I am retiring on 31 Dec of this year, and plan to go skiing for two months in Europe.
After that...who knows, I've always wanted to go to cooking school and open my own place....

Former ASE certified auto tech, welder, now a security guard in a shipyard. Lol, check out my pic in that forum, you'll see why. I am looking for another welding job, though. Hey, bentkey, I also have a model train repair company. I could say I'm an engineer- just not a full-scale one!

What Do You Do For a Living?
Non-Degreed, self-taught "Practical Engineer"; Virginia Licensed Contractor (building); Construction Contracts Administrator and Construction Manager for an Architecture / Engineering / Planning firm in Washington, DC.
My firm designs the project, and I ensure that it gets built the way we designed it, or at least gets built in a "practical" manner!.
Remember this; any design can work on paper, it takes a "practical" Engineer to build it right!!

2ring 4x4 I am just curious what company do you work for in DC. I have lived my whole life in the Fairfax area and I was just curious mainly because I think I am going to be looking for an internship this summer.

What Do You Do For a Living?
Computer aided draftsman. I graduated from school in 01 and have been working since. Got laid off from the first job in march. Hungout on unemployment for 5 months, then started temping at a company that builds autopsy equipment.
. But am still looking for a full time gig. If anyone knows of anything in the Pittsburgh PA area please let me know.

What Do You Do For a Living?
I'm a construction project manager for a international company that works for the Dept's of State and Defense. I'm currently running a job in Bremerton, Wa remodeling 100 houses for the Navy.

Own my own. A trucking brokerage for specialized transportation of heavy machinery(up to 100,000 lbs +) and steel. Domestic and International. It's mine, I built it, and I would trade it for the world.
