i built windows up till the end of october, that's when i got layed off (unexpectedly). now i'm trying to find something more secure. i'm 22 and after 3 years of college i still don't know what i want to do.

worked at a heavy duty truck dealership/repair shop for 3 years, since i was 16, then the company got bought out so i started my own tree service, tree, brush and stump removal in Minnesota, so far, so good. bt winter is setting in, so if anyone needs a hard working employee in the Twin Cities Minnesota area, 20 years old, class A license, let me know. i just need winter work.
machinist/welder in our family run business (just dad and i now) we do almost anything that involves metal, and somethings that don't.. i've been 50' below ground at damn work, and 60' above ground workin on saw dust storage bins.. we fix equipment, build equipment, and fabricate our own designs and equipment.. i'm a class S welder(only cause one customer required it) and everything has been taught to me by my father and grandfather...
when i'm not workin for $$$ i'm a volly firefighter, level 1 certified(NFPA Cert.) and have 4 years in so far.. it doesn't pay a cent, but i still call it my "job" lol

I have a friend who does this. There were no shortages of work in this field...especially here in Phoenix. He can almost pick any shift he wants and still makes great money.
I am a freshman at California Maritime Academy in SF, and I just got hired by a local tug and launch company this past friday so I can get some extra money. Incidently, I just got off the phone with dispatch, I have my first job @ 1430 today! woo hoo wish me luck
