That's all that needs to be said. There either is a connection or there is not. sometimes that connection is one way. Others it's just hanging on by a couple strands of #14 copper wire and any overloading could open the circuit and stop the connection.

Don't worry. Judging by the responses here on FTE, you've got probably a dozen fellas ages 18-21 that's ready and willing to go out with you at a moment's notice!

lol. Sorry to hear about the way it all turned out, but ya win some and lose some eh? Guys these days don't take emotion well, but let's face it... if you want a g/f your going to have to start getting used to the emotion. Sounds to me like you're not the one needing help, you're a normal 17 (soon to be 18 year old) girl that just wants to be treating to a date. It sounds to me like the rest of the guys around there are in need of some assistance in the art of asking a girl out.

Oh I have no problem asking a girl out. Its just that none of the girls in my town are worth asking. That's why I'm trying to expand my horizons.
