How is the sound quality? Is it quiet? The 03's whistle bad enough stock. Yeah it sounds cool but if it was any louder all the dogs in the neighborhood would start barking and chase me down the street.

The actual engine sound is lower in tone and quieter towards the rear end than the stock system at idle. But, between 1800 and 2000 rpm there's a nice healthy rumble which tapers off as flow speeds up. As for the turbo, you can hear it throughout the range of rpms from idle all the way to redline. My dog isn't bothered by the whistle, but he can hear me coming from about a quarter mile away or so. And he's the only one that i've taken notice of.

Overall, I got the same engine volume, with slightly lower tone, and a whole lot of whistle. My truck sounds like a miniature airliner on the road. I don't have any close neighbors, so no one minds the whistle.
