Down pipe PROBLEM!!!!!!

Down pipe PROBLEM!!!!!!

I'm putting my dads new Diamond Eye down pipe on his 2005 f250 6.0 while he's out of town but it won't fit!!!!!!!! It fits perfect on the cat but doesnt fit whatsoever on the pipe under the truck, has anyone had these problems or know if I'm doing something wrong? I'll get pics ina sec

what size pipe? not sure of the difference between the 2004 and 2005 underneath but i was able to get my 4" down pipe in with a little nudge from a friend underneath the truck and i was on top pulling.

That wasn't the problems, I did that myself by pushing with my feet on the muffler, but the flange on the Dow pipe is supposed to fit on the flange on the cat, but the cats off, it doesn't fit the flange for the actual pipe under the pipe, it's like I'm trying to fit a female to a female, the flange on the cat's a male, if you understand what I'm saying, it's kind of hard to explain without pics but I'm at work so that's not an option, lol

i see what you are saying, two things i see either you get the complete kit from whoever you bought it from to match the flanges or you can cut the flanges off and get a coupler to match the size pipes you have.
