4R44E Shift Kit
Has anybody put a shift kit in their automatic trans? I'm looking at one from Trans Go. Friend of mine owns a shop and he is number one for tranny rebuilding around here. He uses Trans Go kits and he likes them.
Any experiences with these kits in this trans?

I've heard good things about them, but I have no personal experience. I've also heard that you probably don't want to go with the stiffest adjustment, otherwise the shifts will snap your head back, they will be that firm.

Good to know. I'm going with the Trans Go kit, he's ordering it for me. It's not a drastic performance kit, just new springs and valving, for more positive shifts and better fluid flow. I figure it will definitely increase longevity, and that's the way he's looking at it, too.
